This first coloring page was inspired by the song by Casting Crowns, "Praise You In This Storm," and the scriptures Psalm 121 (I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills), and Isaiah 51:13 the Lord thy maker [of heaven and earth].

When the earth was newly created, would the Lord have taken the first steps upon it?

When we remember that God created this earth, we cannot be surprised that Jesus was able to calm the storm with a few words.

We are so blessed to enjoy a world with many beauties of nature, and we can be encouraged by the love and attention to detail that our Creator showed. When we consider that Adam or mankind (Hebrew 2:7) was given honor and glory and placed above everything else on this earth, though only a little lower than angels, we can let this thought inspire us to grow towards God in the way he wants us to.
